things we don't want to forget about our wedding day

• Jeff called Megan to make sure he wasn't forgetting anything. He almost forgot the ring!
• Megan woke up early to have her hair done by Kelsey. Kelsey had an 80s song stuck in her head the whole time.
• When Megan's family came to pick up Jeff, he came running out (toothbrush in hand) to give Megan a big hug. He looked so nervous!
• Megan, however, was calmer than she'd been in months.
• As we were walking from the conference center parking garage, Jeff's suit was not cooperating with the hanger it was on. His pants fell off that hanger a few times.
• It was a beautiful, clear, sunny and perfect day! If Jeff and Megan had gotten married the week before, it would have been snowing like crazy. 
• Megan couldn't stop smiling in the bridal room. Other brides looked very stately and put together, but Megan was beaming from ear to ear. 
• The "getting ready" time went extremely fast.
• The Celestial Room in the Salt Lake Temple is beautiful. And sitting there together was wonderful, but Jeff and Megan couldn't wait to get out of there and finally get married. 
• Jeff got teary-eyed as Megan told him about the Father's blessing she received the night before. It said that Heavenly Father was rejoicing and he knew we would be able to resolve any differences that would come up. 
• A member of the temple presidency performed our sealing. He said Megan was a "Special Spirit." Jeff knew that already.
• Jeff and Megan were sealed in sealing room B
• The ceremony was beautiful and amazing. The spirit was certainly there. Definitely the best part of the day. And the best part of their lives.
• Megan got teary eyed as she said "yes" at the altar.
• The temple workers had misplaced Megan's dress and mislabeled Jeff's suit. So, it took them a long time to get ready. Obviously, they were extremely excited to see each other when the time came. Jeff ran to Megan as she was walking down the hall.
• Jeff tripped on Megan's dress as they walked out of the temple for pictures. But, he didn't trip down the stairs. :)
• Picture taking took forever. And it was hot hot hot.
• When Megan and Jeff checked into their hotel, they ate trail mix and practiced their "double dream hands" dance.
• They didn't feel like going to the reception that night, but they were glad they did. It was a blast! Cindy Gines did a beautiful job!
• Megan and Jeff had a hard time cutting the cake.
• When Jeff and Megan got back to their hotel room. They were so tired and hungry. When Megan's parents had the reception food sent up, Jeff and Megan pigged out. They didn't realize exactly how hungry they were. They ate beans with their hands 'cause they didn't have any forks!
