our honeymoon

So, we honeymooned at Lake Tahoe. It was amazing and beautiful. Here's a picture to prove it.

Yup. I told you.

We didn't end up leaving SLC in the early morning. Instead we opted to sleep in and eat a room service breakfast. So, we got to Tahoe pretty late. We got a little lost trying to find the hotel in the dark, but we eventually found it... right where the directions said it was. (We shouldn't let our nerves make us turn around too soon).

The place we stayed was uber nice. My parents own a timeshare and they let us use their week at a condo there. The bathroom had a huge jetted tub with steps that led up into it. Seriously, that was amazing. I should have taken a picture of that, because it impressed me. Maybe more than it should have.

The best part was the time Jeff and I got spend with each other. It was so nice not to have to say goodbye when we said goodnight.

But we did eat some pretty yummy food, too. We ate at this really cute Ma and Pop diner for breakfast. This old couple was so sweet. They were awesome with service and food.

Which we can't really say for Chevy's. We wanted Mexican Food one night and decided to eat at Chevy's. We waited for 40 minutes for a table, then for another 10 minutes for our server to notice us and bring us menus. She never refilled our waters, and the food was kinda yucky. Plus, Jeff reminds me, the dessert was only half there. Bleck.

Despite that experience, most of our honeymoon rocked the casbah. We enjoyed laughing together and being with each other. And (finally!) being married.

See, here's a picture to prove it.
I love Jeff. And he loves me. And we love Tahoe. It'll be cool to visit Tahoe again someday.

P.S. Jeff, do you like my hat? Do you like my parrot?
